The GPS-based C-63 allows the operator to collect and use data in real time for stiffness, density and temperature control, helping solve compaction issues.

The graphical display tracks cumulative compaction through the recording and mapping of each pass and provides a colour-coded status view. The C-63 can be used as a standalone system or within the Topcon Sitelink3D Enterprise site management system, which allows operators to see the work already performed by other machines. This feature is designed to prevent machines from travelling over surfaces already compacted to their required amounts.

A ‘Helping Eye’

A good compaction job is not as easy to achieve as many people think, as there are several variables that make it or break it. One of the most important parts of proper compacting is the correct amount of passes on every spot of the job. Instead of memorizing what has been rolled, the C-63 system provides you with a ‘helping eye’.

Multiple Rollers

Especially on asphalt paving jobs, it is very likely that there is more than one roller on the job. For proper pass counting, each pass of each roller needs to be accounted for. The connection with Sitelink3D™ Enterprise will take care of that. All displays on the job will be updated with each other’s pass counts. Over and under-compacting will be a thing of the past.

Upgradability

The Compaction Management System is scalable to your needs. The large GX-60 display allows you to not only display the number of passes, but also see values such as stiffness, density, temperature, frequency and amplitude, depending on the connection that is available to the roller.

Sitelink3D™ Enterprise

The C-63 can run in standalone mode but can also connect to Sitelink3D Enterprise. The web interface provides visibility of all real-time mapping synchronization, and also the place where you can monitor all values and create reports for later analyses. Using Sitelink3D Enterprise, your roller will be part of an online complete job site management and planning environment along with other machines.
